Rouge National Urban Park is open year-round with many activities to choose from but it’s up to you to be prepared. Wear season appropriate clothes and shoes for unpaved trails. Road bikes are welcome on the paved roads as the paths are for hikers only. Provide your own refreshments and food that can be carried in and especially out. Wildlife have their own menu so feeding them is not an option. Being such a large park, the Rouge has many points of entry. From central Toronto use highway 401. Toronto public transit and Go trains also access the park. It’s also possible to cycle to the Rouge.
