Paddle the Great (Largely Unknown) Hornaday River

Prepare yourself. Few of your friends and colleagues will have heard of the Hornaday River and fewer still will believe you after you describe your paddling trip here. The 360 km Upper Hornaday begins lazily as a wide and gentle current conveyed through the upland tundra and ends well above the Hornaday River Canyons with they have 45 km of extreme Class III and IV white water. Canyons reach 170 m high through rapids few have seen and barely anybody has run.
