Healy lockstation
Constructed: 1910 – 1914

The contract for this lock was awarded to Haney, Quinlan and Robertson in May 1910, the only firm to win two contracts on the Ontario – Rice Lake section. The project required extensive blasting of rock and dredging. Today the swing bridge is a Class 1 Structure and is opened and closed with the assistance of a pick-up truck.
